In an ideal world (while still sticking within the limits of what's realistically possible under the US system), Biden realizes how many votes this will cost him and changes course before November, thus re-winning enough votes to keep Trump out.

I don't get the impression that Biden really supports this. If he did, he wouldn't be sending the military to Gaza to build a pier to provide maritime relief assistance in Gaza while completely bypassing Israel in the process.
