People that order doordash/uber eats from places that do their own delivery, like a local pizza place.

My daughter works at one of the local pizza places, and they employ their own delivery people and do not charge extra for delivery, but for the added exposure, they also deliver through doordash and uber eats.

She says the amount of people that order through delivery services is staggering.

Are people THAT adverse to making a phone call that they're willing to pay upwards of an extra $20 just to order through an app instead?

It's more likely that they were simply looking for something to eat via those apps. If I open DoorDash, it shows me tons of nearby restaurants to order from. But there's no way of knowing which places deliver on their own unless I look them up outside of the app. And if I'm already browsing DoorDash, then I'm not really worried about saving as much money as possible. There's a lot of options on there and it's convenient.

But yes, I'd prefer not to order via phone if I don't have to. If I find out a place delivers, I will check first if I can order through a website or an app. Calling them to place an order is my last resort lol.

I had really amazing friends but I didnt want to date them I just wasnt interested though I felt i should try to date this girl who kept hinting at dating we were close friend at the time for years but I wasnt into her even though I did like her looks there was a girl I liked though but I felt like I was forcing the crush to feel normal ngl. Im not saying I dont respect people who identify as trans or non-binary, just that I as a cis white male with no issue with my sense of self simply doesnt understand what it must feel like to not be your gender assigned at birth.

I guess also sexuality. It must be extremely hard in some cases to actually realize that youre gay or bi and as a straight man just dont understand what it would be like to go through (all of my gay friends through high school / college seemed to already figure out their sexuality before we became friends etc.)

Theres people saying they want Pokmon to have a really deep story. Same, me too but when has Pokmon ever had an outstanding story or anything besides sun and moon and black and white gens? Then theres people complaining about gameplay its not even changed much besides the story difficulty being on the easier side for games past gen 6 I see its kinda valid tbh. The graphics are bad yeah but Pokmons graphics have been pixels for the mainline gens before 6 and the gens after are still decent looking for the console they are on maybe a bit below though.
What Im saying is Pokmon has never been this outstanding series its always been great but not outstanding Ive replayed the games a lot but I found myself enjoying other rpgs more

Yes but my point is that Pokmon never was as amazing as people act like they were in the past and that game freak as a company have always been kinda behind execution of games

The issue with Pokemon isn't that it used to be better. But rather, fans are upset about all of the wasted potential. It's one of the biggest IP's in the world, yet the games are so low effort, which has become increasingly obvious with the games on the Switch. Minimal story, no voice acting (I'm sorry, but don't have a whole ass concert scene if you're not going to add in voices), bad graphics, tons of glitches. The games could be amazing, but that's not what we've been getting.

I agree yes they definitely could do way better with the games and it really is massive missed potential i could still be a fan if they tried harder but they know the majority will buy the games as long as they keep it at least average to below average quality and keep profits as high with less development cost and skipping graphic and framerate polish and voice acting corners

I think a major part of it is the structure and communion that comes from it. Having something else tell you how the world works and what to do is easy on the mind, and the regular meetings and social support are generally good for one's mental health.
