I'm pan and I do crossdress. Every LGBT person (including my girlfriend, who is non-binary) I've ever talked to with a lot going on has affectionately called it "nonsense".

idk yet i plan to do something w/ a guy someday. i have to get over my social anxiety first and other mental blocks (related to like social norms and stuff). i've attracted at least two diff guys in the past but i didnt do anything w/ them since i was a bit shy lol.

Yeah, it seems interchangeable in theory on a basic definitional basis, pansexuality just puts more focus on other areas outside the classic dichotomy.

It is not largely interchangeable in practice, if someone identifies as one and not the other that's entirely their business.

I identify as pan at this point. Mostly attracted to women, but one of my partners came out as trans, and that took my sexuality on a bit of a roller coaster. I've also done a ton of psychedelics over the years which have melted the conventional boundaries of identity for me to such an extent that I don't even really believe in categories for sex/gender/etc anymore. Pan is the label that seems to say "anything is possible," and that's kinda where I am now.
