They crave attention from you mods SO much. I find that "go out and touch grass" phrase a little hokey but good lord does it fit here. So unhealthy and mentally unstable to be that obsessed over you all. It's just a message board of anonymous people.

I think the best one was when one of them took several hours going through the boards here and compiling statistics because he thinks the users are too far to the left and then he turned around and claimed that we are the ones who are too obsessed with gamefaqs

I cant respond to that guy cuz he had me blocked or vice versabut I won that fight. It was the commentators that were mistaken.

You cant hear the commentators when youre in the arena, so everyone in that arenathe fans, fighters, officials, and Charles Oliveria himself knew I had won. It was only cringe and confusing to the audience watching at home because of the commentary.

But inside the building I was treated like Rocky. Fans and other fighters took pictures with me, and I felt like a million bucks. One of the best moments of my life for sure. Sucks that the commentary ruined it for the folks at home. But, thats life.

I am looking to fight again soon. Maybe on the Dubai card if I can.

I say what I say, and I mean what I say. I own everything Ive ever said. Therefore the mod staff (you included) has a right to dislike me. I told you that in the last topic as well. If you ever want to discuss those things with me my DMs are open, both here and on Reddit.

But my gripes with GameFaqs and their gripes are completely different. Its like comparing apples & oranges.

I dislike the way GameFaqs is run. I dont think its conducive to growth. I think its marketing strategy, and businesses development series of operations seriously needs to be revamped if this website ever wants to reach the heights of its previous success back when it was a top 100 site on Alexa.

Those guys are just hateful spiteful people for various reasons, none of them justifying the continued bullying and harassment of the folks that do enjoy using this platform (myself included).

There is a lot of straight bigotry, and nonsensical internet culture stuff designed to provide them with justifications for their continued harassment of users. Its bad. My posting history, as anti-moderator as it is, never included any alt-right political agenda, bigotry, prejudice, stalking, or any of the other crap those reddits are now advocating for.

But still. Had I never made that damn thing in the first place, then maybe that one truly awful reddit wouldnt currently exist. So I am truly sorry. I take some responsibility for it.

Youre complaining about the moderations but somehow fail to realize those people you are standing up for are virtually all banned for promoting bigotry and similar disinformation, but somehow thats not your bag?

Theres not any appreciable differences to be made to the moderation practices here that are going to make this site jump in numbers of users, and you come across like Elon Musk did when he wanted to buy Twitter to make it a free speech platform and overhaul moderation practices.

This is a dogwhistle for saying you want to allow bigotry and disinformation to run rampant. What else could you possibly mean here?

Im just explaining what I complain about, its completely different than what the conservative users complain about. Im a different beast. The mods rightfully should still hate me for my hot takes and stuff, but its still completely different than all those other people I keep getting lumped in with.

Some moderations. Most are justified. But mostly its the moderation system I complain about. The way GameFaqs is run, not the individual moderations themselves. I think moderation revamp of 2021 is not as conducive to engagement and user growth as the previous system was.

I disagree. I think its possible. Fandom has excellent user aquisition teams, there just needs to be a better onboarding process for new users.

I would say vague complaints about moderation practices appear to revolve around that because that is usually what gets people banned here.

Hence the comparison to what happened with Twitter (I dont use that platform though)

Maybe more details about how the moderation system needs an overhaul? As opposed to vague references to (individual) moderations (which are bigotry, trolling, other rule violations, so on and so forth)

Appreciate the explanation you replied with, I dont personally know about the machinations of the system behind the scenes anymore than your average user.

Aww. Yea, I see that. No I have very real, and detailed complaints that Ive shared ad-nausea for years. But most people here know what they are, like its just me beating a dead horse at this point. Also, I legitimately dont think I care anymore.

Like I use to care. To a very unhealthy level. Getting rid of that stupid Reddit has helped a lot. Sure I rather had just given it to Slayer or something, but having it no longer be my responsibility has definitely lifted a weight off my shoulders.

I dont care anymore. I use to just type the same thing out over and over again. Just 15-20 minutes every other day. Why?

The mods have every right to hate me. Ive complained about the moderation system, and many of their individual moderations for years. I try not to mention individual names, although im sure Ive slipped up a few timesbut I mean if you are a 49ers fan and some dude just rags on the team everyday, eventually you are going to hate that person.

But people think I insult the individual users, but I dont. The other raging crybabies do. Theyll call people out by names and attack themheck theyll coordinate attacks. But I dont. I always try to talk about things in generalizations. Like I might complain about CEmen, but I dont complain about individual users.

But then again not as much anymore. Im not perfect. Ill still sound off here and there. My point of view is still the same, Im just tired of evangelizing it. Im just an old man yelling at clouds.

I deserve what I get. Consequences come from actions made. I made decisions. It let to all that nonsense. I get what I get from both sides. I deserve the hate I get from the mods & CEmen, and I deserve the hate I get from those reddits. Im just a whipping boy at this point, and thats okay.
