It's not weird to call it a fetish when the way you display your "preference" here, borders on obsessive. Like a majority of the time that I see you posting, you're either talking about Japanese women, or posting pictures of Japanese women. And that's what a fetish is, a preference that's taken to an abnormal level.

But hey, if you end up settling down with a nice Asian woman, then more power to you. I'm not saying you can't like Asian woman. Just saying what kind of impression it gives to see how you post.

I guess its more like a schtick here. The way I act here is no way near how I act in real life (Obviously, or not depending on how people see me >_>).

I had to go to the city hall with our coordinator to get our Residence card filled out with our addresses. And our coordinator is cute as fuck >_>

I spoke to her a lot and she really did ask a few questions about my ex-gf and personal life. Not sure if that means anything. I did get her number though, so maybe I'll call her regarding some work stuff tomorrow >_>

She was my girlfriend and wanted to be my fiance. I can say it was various things. Our hobbies didn't really align (this is a small issue), but we both wanted different things in life. She wasn't about the whole city life, with me wanting to work in Tokyo. She also wanted to settle down, preferably in London, which is something I didn't want.

She wanted to push for marriage and I wanted to wait till we got our stuff in order first. I know its vague, but we'd constantly have disagreements and misunderstandings, mostly coming out of our inability to just sit down and talk about it. I think its because of her upbringing (She's from Shiga near Kyoto) which is a really conservative closed off lifestyle. She also disliked a lot of things I liked, Japanese dramas, videogames, movie ect.

She even disliked the fact that I was into the idol group Sakurazaka46, even though she herself knew various idols and male idols. I guess there were different standards she had in her mind.

After that I could kinda feel us growing apart in the last year we were together. So in the back of my mind I kinda expected it, even though it still felt like I got stabbed in the heart.

I've only been here almost 2 weeks now, but I haven't really felt any difference. They're friendly here too but I heard from a lot of people that Kansai people in Osaka are friendlier than Tokyo or Kyoto people.

Maybe its because I've just been settling in and focusing on setting up work/residency since I haven't interacted much with people yet, only company employees and colleagues.
