I'm not excusing them. I am however saying saying even if it happened it would have been shit because let's be honest it would have been like I said, one of their seasonal PVE events squared with tacted on skill trees.

If we truly wanted a good Overwatch campaign it would have needed to be a spin-off game in a different engine that focuses on one or two characters.

Are you sure on that one? It's literally dropped by almost half, in 6 months. Palworld, an early access, blatantly incomplete game, has almost 3x as many active players, and its initial hype has died.

Yes lmao. This game is on 2 x box platforms, 2 Playstation platforms, pc and switch. Theres a metric ton of people who play on all of those including myself who still plays on a ps4.

The estimate is indeed an estimate but its far closer to the real thing than steam numbers. Steam is around 15% of rhe player base.

Never said their devs were perfect or even great, but they arent terrible. Theres always one or two characters that are so unorthodox as to be hard to balance around.

Sym is this character for that game, which is why she's had so many reworks. Her Playstyle is such that it doesn't take much changes to make her incredibly weak, or insanely game dominating.

Now, this latest news story confirms that their entire premise for why Overwatch 2 was necessary (to add a big change like PvE) is gone, and it's abundantly clear that they only made Overwatch 2 to try and milk people via microtransactions.

Edit: just checked my twitch feed for ow2, highest streamer in seeing is at 3.2k, there's maybe 4 other people above 1k, everyone else has 500 or less, most of that "less" being like 15 people lmao. And those are just the first couple of scrolls. Idk how many people are streaming rn but there's definitely some who have no one watching. There always is.

The "misrepresentation" is that Toonstrack has, indeed, been suspended numerous times for transphobic shit, and then he goes on reddit and tries to argue what he said isn't actually transphobic, just "factual."

Though let me be fair. One of his more recent huge suspensions wasn't for transphobic shit. It was when he went into a topic by a user talking about their wife choosing to end their life via MAID, and he decided to attack the person's wife less than two days after she died.
