It's a state job doing exactly doing what I'm doing right now; being a DBA. The structure interview was in Feb 5th. Got no response so I did a follow up email to the HR person on the 28th. Still no response. The position remains active and open and my status under "screening".
I've been in contact with two people on Reddit. One of them currently working for the state of Ohio and he says it could take up to 6 months before I hear anything. The other guy in the same position as me, awaiting for an answer. Today the guy awaiting for an answer got a response and he was hired. Course the department he's hired in for is the taxation department. The department I'm applying for is the Administrative offices. I wish they would just tell me I got it or not. State government HR is always super slow. I had an interview in November didn't hear back til January asking if I wanted the job then didn't get hired ti February.
