I refuse to use anything other than a Pilot G2

I prefer mechanical pencils to pens.

I prefer them over swords.

I like the ones that work.

Rollerball. They're just the right balance between quality and ease.

I always thought a pen's a pen until I happened to try a rollerball (in contrast to the cheap-ass ballpoints I'd always used before) and got my mind blown. Writes the first trime every time, and looks significantly better at the same time.

I'm sure those really fancy ones you have to dip and stuff are a similar step up, but I mean, I also appreciate that all you have to do is cap/uncap them.

The G2 is a classic, but I'm partial to the Sharpie S Gel.

For Pens, I prefer most Japanese made Pens.

They have much higher build/ink quality than Bic / cheapo brands.

I own at least some pens from all the major Japanese Stationary Manufacturers.

For Erasable Pen's, I prefer Pilot FriXion line.

I'm fine with (Ballpoint, Gel, or Roller Ball) type pens, each type has it's PRO(s)/CON(s).
I really don't care for Felt Tip or Fountain Pens.

The only major Japanese brand I haven't tried is Sakura, but they're on the smaller side of Pen Brands.

ones with more fiction and a bigger ball point the grey ones check the boxes.

Not really though if Im given a pen by a friend or family member, I tend to hang onto and use it until the ink runs dry due to sentimental reasons before replacing it with a new one, and if it somehow gets lost beforehand, Ill feel a pang of sadness and regret at failing to keep up with it.

I mostly just steal the nice pens people forget at work. I've got a couple that I really like but I couldn't tell you what the fuck they are.

Pilots are good tho.

For my every day writing.

It was Papermate Inkjoy Gel 0.5mm but don't seem to be sold in the UK anymore.

Zebra Sarasa 0.5mm is the new go to at the moment but I'm still looking for that perfect one.

Energel is good too I found inconsistent between pens, not tried Pilot G2. Will hunt that down.

For journaling, creative notes and things like that.

Pilot Hi-Tech V5, I really like their ink formulation.

Not a fountain pen person.

I love the glide of a good Zebra.
