I think I like Warfarer.

My Pawns decided to fuck off somewhere, so I had to solo a Gorechimera.

Didn't even damage me.

One or two Sagittate Avalanches to the goat while he's casting, charge in, swap to unga bunga, Heavenward Sunder to the face.

He goes down, jumping Stonesplitter to the goat face, and it starts getting much worse for him from there.

My whole playthrough I've just kept my pawn as a support mage but might finally have to change her to Thief lol. Really looking specifically for a Thief with Frosted Edges, Plunder, Ensnare and Skull Splitter. Annoys me that when you try to search for a pawn by skill you can only pick one <__<

i used a mod to find my first seeker token location. i was never gonna find it lol

Doing my second play through with mods that actually effect gameplay (first was just some lewd stuff and a clock) and I found one that gives warfarer 3 slots for each individual vocation and man, it is fun being able to use almost any ability for any vocation I feel like at any given moment at a press of a button.

at that point though you might as well just use a one hit kill mod because the game will be ridiculously easy lol

I was level 50 with fully upgraded weapons on both my arisen and pawn at the end of my first run, and between my warrior and her thief we were already killing everything but those unmoored dragons in a few seconds. Least now I can very up how I obliterate things.

Gonna play for like 8 hours today lol just got to the Nameless Village after killing my first golem. Needed a rest because I forgot to take a camping kit out of storage after dismissing a pawn. I'm playing a thief rn and this village is dope.

Seems like a lot of pawns I favorited have disappeared v_v guessing their player started a new game. Hired a pawn that came out with red eyes after the rift so I immediately chucked her off a cliff lmao

Not a huge fan of Trickster as a vocation but their fashion sense is impeccable.

I got lucky with that Sphyx riddle for the finder's token. My first seeker's token was in the tower in the first village, so quite literally the first place I checked.

rested at the inn. Now her father figure (i forget his name) wants to be escorted to a random place on the map.

I got a little sick of those.

I just had the worst possible version.

Dropped an Ogre that wanted us out of his swamp, got back into the cart, pressed the button to sit.

WHAM

Griffin says hello, smashes the cart.

I didn't even take damage because I was in the middle of the animation, just landed on my feet and drew daggers with a noticeably resigned air.

The worst is when you're riding the Battahl sky pulley things and a griffin comes and smashes it, plunging you and your party to your death lol

I havent had that happen to me yet lol

Yesterday I got up to level 50. Still only maxed sorc and mage vocation.

Last thing I did was annihilate a griffin with triple meteoron group cast . This is more satisfying than triple grand bolide in dd:da IMO. the accuracy of each meteor is so fucking high in this game. Hope it never gets nerf

Also I've seen a video of one of the vocations being able to bounce off walls. Can you also bounce off enemies??? Like jump cancel from dmc??

Thief can wallkick but I dont think it works on enemies. Archers can jump kick off enemies though and do a mid air shot with their bow after.

Yeah, your attack/heavy attack/special keys swap to whatever weapon you're using.

So it's possible, sure, but just about every WF I've ever seen opts for a Magick Bow and Sagittate Avalanche as a ranged option.

Seriously, it's like 80% Heavenly Sunder (or whatever the Warrior uppercut is) plus SA plus (usually) Ricochet Shot.

Dang I thought ox carts were like player action proof. Accidently obliterated it with meteorons now gotta walk to the checkpoint place thing

Yes, although MA is more towards the Volcanic region which is south/southeast of Battahl

I use Wayfarer just so I can level all classes at the same time slowly lol. Also so I can fashion any way I want to

I use Warfarer so I can have a damn bow and movement options like we did in DD:DA.

Like, "are you not playing a caster? Then fuck you, no jumping."

There are two ways.

One is the quest, which is a little annoying but you can make Newt Liquor with a Saurian Tail and Fruit Wine.

The other just straight up happens in the postgame, I unlocked WF and Magick Archer simultaneously but I don't think I got the Meister skills.

It's actually one of the easier ones. All you need is 15000 gold (to buy 3 newt liquor in Battahl) and then access to Volcanic Camp place

I forgot you can buy it.

In fairness, I have no idea how people got that store to sell to them without looking it up.

Prolly one of the funnier accidents. "Man this hey looks like it needs to go inside this pen..." Then gets apprehended by random NPC and take to a dude that sells rare liquor lol

I just started playing again and rented a mage pawn that looks like a CEman that had a ton of likes. There is a market for everyone, not just sexy characters. Although, it seems like you should have some kind of niche.

Remember to level your pawn's other vocations.

You get a couple of augments from the other ones that are very nice, like the increased carrying capacity (Fighter) or knockdown resistance (Sorc?).

Always skip the one that lengthens enchantment time, it only works on the Mage themselves and not other people who get the enchantment.

Also the one to increase Magick raises it by a flat 20, so it's not super useful outside of low levels.

I wanted to max their mage out before I change them to another vocation but I might just jump around just to get more rents. I should have just made a funny Shrek pawn smh

Mage is a good one to max for the stamina Regen augment, but I'm not sure how helpful it is on a Pawn.

Also don't load a Mage with more than one attack spell, and even that's pushing it.

I'd recommend Levin (if you absolutely need it), along with Palladium (free hits are choice), Celestial Peaen or Peon or Peen or whatever (the single best way to max DPS), Ice Boon (most common/useful weakness), and either Halidom, Celerity, or Argent Succor in that order.

Well it happened. My pawn plaguesploded all over Battahl. I never look at eyes any more and she didn't seem rude or not listening to me. Didn't bother to look for the head holding either.

I just ended up passing a week+ by drake farming and came back. Lotta, if not all, npcs came back.

Finally maxed out all of my vocations after using Warfarer and essentially playing as Magick Archer the entire time. Besides that, Sorcerer, and Mage, playing another class makes me feel like I need to relearn combat

Gonna follow up on the Sovren quests and whatever is going on in that starting town this weekend before hitting the point of no return with the Wyrmdrake Crystals quest

That's not the point of no return.

You'll get pulled into the Gigantus fight, but until you hop on the elevator in the Pawn mine you can turn around and go do whatever you want.
