But I only watched episodes here and there before school.
I tried to watch the whole season 1 multiple times theough the years, I enjoy the first few episodes but I always lose interest after a while. The Dub is damn near an abridged series.

The series does get better in later seasons but there's a season where people were blowing up on and saying it was the best but I didn't think it was. Rather, it was underwhelming to me but the series is pretty good. Just the first season felt like a monster of the week style at first.

Maybe I'll just find some story summaries on YouTube or something cause I read somewhere that the last season didn't get a dub version. I normally watch subs but I got too used to the dubs for this show.

Seasons 1 and 2 are more light-hearted. Even when the characters are dealing with world-ending threats, they're willing to make jokes and jabs at each other. The Season 2 finale is especially pretty silly.
Season 3 turned up the darker moments so hard that it almost feels like a different show. --- currently waiting for my turn in Master Duel. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Dub has a GOATed theme song. I kinda get why they made the decision to do a parody dub because college for how to play card games is clearly an absurdist concept. It's unfortunate that the abridged-style dub cares not for the source material, but for what it was, the dub show was really enjoyable as a kid. Until it hit season 3 and the tonal whiplash of

I loved GX. Season 3 was dark as fuck. They forced Jaden, a positive carefree happy go lucky kid, to become a fucking man.
