Seems like the logical move for them since it's one of the few MGS games not available on PC and I'm sure people would eagerly buy it (like myself). Instead of wasting time releasing half-assed ports of the originals...

Supposedly the game isn't easy to port due to some PS3 shit but there's a 360 version hiding around somewhere

I know I'm going to get some hate on this, but better than 5. While there were parts of 4 I didn't like, for the most part I enjoyed playing 4. 5, not so much. Too big, too empty, too many reused assets just to make the world feel big.

do you think, when they eventually port mgs4, that they'll artificially add in giant loading screens so everyone can experience watching snake just smoke a cig for an hour? seems like a huge part of the game that will be completely erased with time

but honestly a majority of the game is just cutscenes. they're better off just packaging the cutscenes in higher def and leaving out the pointless game part.

Considering that they just re-released the first few games and called it master collection volume 1, I would assume they're working on it along with PW and (maybe?) Rising as a volume 2.
