-One guy who will never, ever, ever side with Palestine, attempted to overthrow our democracy once already, was an embarrassment on the world stage, drove us into a recession, and is openly stating that his next term will be a petty revenge tour against anyone he perceives as having wronged him He's also openly stated he will discriminate against Muslims, immigrants, and LGBTQ, oh and he also said he wants to be a dictator for "one day", because we all know how good dictators are at giving up that power once they have it.

Thats it. That's what you have. So you'll have to excuse me if acting huffy and self-righteous over Palestine rings false when you're willing to usher in someone who will not only allow it to continue, but will start the oppression and genocide train rolling over here too.

In a fashion it's kind of the ultimate both sides argument nowadays. In reality it's far closer to say one side is imperfect but has the capacity to learn and change while the other is actively malicious but too many let the mistakes of the first get in the way of realizing the capacity for change and any good it did to instead put those mistakes on the same level as the active malice of the other. Then they get into their head that makes the only "moral" action to be to vote for neither, or not vote at all, until they see a candidate they call perfect, a candidate that is "not evil(read makes no mistakes)" all the while flaunting their morality while they effectively do nothing.

Hate to use the words despite them fitting so well, it's the purest form of virtue signaling.
