Ugh, they're gonna get away with killing their storyline because they couldn't tolerate Barrera being anti-genocide. Well, I won't be seeing the new Scream regardless. BlueberryWaffle posted... 4 was amazing, 5 was meh, 6 was good until the ending. 7 has the potential to be great if they are bringing back Neve. You have an oddly optimistic view on this. 5 & 6 just became irrelevant because the 2 main lead sisters meant to replace Sidney were fired/quit. 7 is going to be its own standalone movie devoid from the accomplishments of 4-6 and they're going to have to scrape some new storyline together after investing so much time into the previous arc. If Sidney merely being in the movie made it great there would be no criticisms of the main Scream franchise, where she's the focal character. Jagr_68 posted... I feel like Williamson being involved will help lessen that. As far as Campbell returning goes, the last film proved that the series can work without Sidney, and there was a clear plan for the story (as much as I dislike the ~~"being a killer is genetic"~~ trope). Ditching all of that and going back to Sidney feels like a shot in the foot, but I do think Williamson can make it work (even though I'd feel better if he were involved in the writing, too). I'm still gonna give it a chance, so we'll see. --- "You need a hobby. Now that Scream 7 has more money to throw around since losing their two stars, they can afford Neve Campbell lol. Also Scream 6 was so bad it was almost as bad as Scream 3.
