He was always proud of his service, but I feel like he gave so much for nothing. Had liver cancer and was told it wasn't actually his beer consumption that caused it. Rather he ate Tylenol like candy. But agent orange definitely played a factor. He was given two purple hearts but he denied both as he felt he shouldn't be rewarded for getting hurt.
