However much I love the tank-y controls, most gamers today are over that shit. That being said, I imagine that it wouldn't be too hard to modernize the controls to be a bit quicker, but I am unsure if that would lose some of the game's feel or not. Miyazaki has gone on record that he absolutely wants to do a KF game, but that he won't, as the original creator doesn't seem too interested and won't give his permission. However much I love the tank-y controls, most gamers today are over that shit.
