I thought they knew the direction things were going when modern remakes zipped up Yuffie (Kisaragi). Even ninjas can't have their flys halfway open anymore.

It wasn't, but I did remember reading about Yuffie's changes from an outrage topic here on Gfaqs. She is one of my favorite FF characters, but not enough to rebuy a game that already had its memories three consoles back.

I was just watching my friend play the Yuffie dlc to prepare for Rebirth and her shorts are still unbuttoned and slightly unzipped.

Though looking at her rebirth design, it seems she's even got a belt now to accentuate how zipped up her shorts are now lol.
