Just had to get my mouth electrically cauterized and stitched up for that damn ulcer. It's always the freezing that hurts the most.

Pick line gets moved in a few hours, but now I'm getting crap bedside manner from infectious diseases like my leukemia is "potentially curable".

Like MOTHERFUCKER gtfoh. One thing at a TIME, Jesus.

This has not been a good day.

[LFAQs-redacted-quote]

They have me on the right damn meds finally, just gotta move the pick line.

And that dude from infectious diseases ain't my Hematologist, and he isn't the leading Oncologist.

Leave your calls to the bacteria, dude. Also, the nurses are really rough today, like damn.

Freaking grrrrrr. But perhaps it will be the anger that fuels me today

Holy shit, my blood sugars are all over the goddamn place today.

Prednisone has made my sugars go to fucking 25 (usually mid-teens tho), but I've been put on the 'soft diet'. Which basically means no fucking food.

I should not be waking up with a 3.1 blood sugar level.

Well, I just need the infection to go away, take this last batch of intravenous chemo today and get one last bone marrow test in the last week.

It's the home stretch and I'm feeling good! I've still got this!

Jesus, it's hard not knowing exactly where we are on the scale here.

I've been taking this like a champ. I just wish I knew more about what's happening. I guess I can be impatient like that.

Thank you so much. I'm not used to surrendering and and having to be 'cared for', so that's actually some of the hardest parts of this for me.

But I have support from a surprising amount of places. I still got this

Hang in there, love. It'll get better.

You're just in the bad spot right now. Yeah, I know it's clich to describe it like that but I have no other way to put it. I blame my limited English for that.

Already feeling better today. I was so wiped out, but after some water and Gatorade, I really got some mojo back. Even had a surprise visitor!

But I do appreciate your kind words, sir! Thank you!

Not a big fan of getting woken up at 4am for vitals.

Or again at 630am for "bloodwork'. Especially if they are not good at it and my arms just bruise more and more and more.

It really is something watching a hematologist rope your arm while at the same time another nurse takes your blood sugar on the other arm. Makes you feel like a piece of meat.

At least I get to see mom and grandma again today :3. That'll make the day shorter, for sure

The biggest infections in my body appear to be all clearing up, but they want to make sure my liver and spleen don't blow up from all of the chemo.

Just gotta rest for a few more days, I'm SO CLOSE

Definitely starting to go a little stir-crazy now that I''m starting to go past the the expected discharge date with less and less guarantees about what's going on with me.

Might be another week. Could be a month. Don't know. Damn liver enzymes lmao.
