only had two times where i've felt like i was genuinely good at a game:

titanfall 2 - i played this a shit ton when it dropped on ps+ in late 2019/early 2020. got to level cap and would win mvp like 1/4 or 1/3 of the time. which is insane considering how dog shit i am at other online shooters. to be clear i didn't play team death match tho i would do the default online mode... maybe i woulda sucked in team deathmatch...

out of the park baseball - this is an incredibly nerdy sports management sim, like football manager. i've played in several online leagues and talking to dozens/hundreds of other people about their valuations and then seeing them make terrible moves has me convinced that i am in the top 1% of ootp players, which is embarrassing and shameful. first online league i had bottom 5 money and farm, had the team get to top 5 in money and farm within three seasons and won 107 games before leaving. had another league for 7 seasons where despite it being 40 teams and thus had more playoff variance, i went to three championships and won twice. set the league record for wins with 114 as well.

I was top 30 in one of the minigames in ragdoll kung fu. The one where you have to shake tf out of the controller and aim ur character at targets.
Wanna say I was at 19th place or something close to it

but I doubt many ppl took that game serious enough to go for high ranks tho. My placement could have easily been beaten by any1 that tried. Since it was just something I attempted for a few days as a kid

just remembered another one. a long time ago when i would take a shit i'd always play crossy road, which is like frogger. some mobile game. i would always place very high in the daily standings to the point where someone made a username called 'get a life 1st place' LMAO.... so then i stopped playing

Alien vs, Predator 2. Same here, I was really good at this one in online matches, especially as the alien, doing the most damage as either a runner or a predalien. I'm actually pretty good at any AvP game, but this was me at my best.

Compared to anyone on the internet? None. Well maybe Pokemon but those games are easy. And even then i dont do competitive.

Last game I played enough to be good at would probably be Forza Horizon 5. I was posting top 1% times on the leaderboards without having to sweat too hard. I lost a lot of motivation to play once I hit the limit on saved designs, as I wanted every car in my collection to have an anime girl on it so I havent been on it in months.

I had a few top ten scores in some songs in Rock band and guitar hero on expert, I was pretty good at StarCraft for awhile but only at like specific game modes I'd get roasted in an actual comp, and the original black ops I was pretty good at for awhile.

I used to do completionist runs in RE4 on GameCube as quickly as I could, and felt like I got pretty good at that. Besides that, it'd probably go back to the NES days with some of the old classics that I sometimes see listed as notoriously difficult, like Ninja Gaiden.

i had a #1 score on Screamride for a bit

I was pretty good at DBFZ the year it released. Had some 80% win rate across like 1000 matches. Then I missed a major tournament I was training for because I had to move that weekend and just straight up gave up on fighting games.

Had a pretty solid elo during 5th gen competitive Pokemon

I play too many games to be a master at anyone of them but maybe FF9?

Back in high school I was good at Diablo 2. Had all the important items memorized. Knew which skills to use. I wasn't like, competitive, but I could enter any random dueling game and mop the floor with people. I was taking people out 3v1 regularly. I even died once in a 3v1, and then killed them all before getting my equipment back.

Oh and I had a really solid duelist. There was a guy who was using a hack that let you use a stupidly strong melee attack from any distance, even behind objects, and I wrecked him so bad he just exited the game.

My top multiplayer gaming achivements.

-Grand Master in Overwatch while solo-queueing and one-tricking as Sombra. RETIRED

-Master II in Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel using a stun deck. RETIRED

-Peaked at rank #4 in a Pokemon Showdown tier using only bird pokemon, and I did beat the #1 ranked player at the time. RETIRED

-Hold several world records on some songs in Avicii Invector. Still trying to grab more.

I'm one of the few dudes on earth who made it through Zombies Ate My Neighbors without losing any of the saveable victims. There's a little core of speedrunners who can do it in the 90 minute range but I wasn't going for speed, I just wanted to say that I did it once, so I was closer to 3 hours. It took about half a year's worth of weekends to pull off.

If people figure out some crazy way to save 1 currently unreachable victim on a balcony, I'll have to do it all over again!

One summer i played Crash Team Racing on PSP every day all day and became a master at it.

I used to be really good at Heroes of the Storm during the long alpha and beta test of the game. There was a website where people would upload games to determine one's "rank". (This was before you had any official rankings). I checked it out once and I was apparently in "diamond" which was the top 10% of players if I recall.

I recently tried playing again and I did horrible (the game has changed a lot, my skills have apparently rusted a lot, and I'd imagine most of the people still playing are really good at the game).

I also really liked Infinite Warfare. It was the only CoD where I maxed out every single weapon/operator and unlocked everything

As a kid, I would go hours, days, not losing a single round in CS:S.

On SFHDR, I was arguably the best online player in the world, at one point. I would do mirror matches with snakeeyez and win more often than lose. But he had the good sense to travel for tournaments, while I stupidly stuck to college. God I hope it gets to steam somehow.

Worms as well. I was a ninja-rope pro back in Worms Armageddon (<3 Rope Races!). I could probably still pull off some of the speed, but not at the same level.

Mega man in general. (I did the speedrun under a hour thing for a lot of the mega mans. Got the mr. perfect achievement for mega man 10 back on the 360, which was going through the entire game without being hit).

Contra once I shake the rust off. Also got that 200/200 achievements on the 360 version of hard corps uprising back when, the hardest one being beating arcade mode without dying.

Resident evils. (EGM's april fool joke about akuma made me get pretty good at OG RE2, lol).

Phantasy star online, especially episode 1 and 2. Back when this game's official version was active on the gamecube and og xbox, I was known as that guy in the friend group to raise everybody's mags since I used to know how to get the various forms with the specific photon blasts for each class by heart. Same thing with the HP and TP mats....I knew the exact amount to use on each class so nothing was wasted. Pretty much memorized all the rare drops for the various section IDs so I knew which monsters to hug when I played with random peeps online, lol.

Monster hunter world. I lanced down fatalis solo before I had a ton of fatalis armor pieces or the actual fatalis lance yet.....I friggin' earned this one. *The lance when it comes to the weapon tiers list being at the bottom basically when it comes to iceborne. Mine was a very uphill battle compared to people who used something like the switch axe for this fight.*

Also I know it's not a major challenge but if there was a way to race to see how fast you can get all 1100 or so clusters in Saint's Row 4 I would be near the top.

I think people actually did find out a way to save that 1 victim over the years. The recent zombies ate my neighers and ghoul control collection release actually has a trophy for saving every single neighbor in the game.

I was also pretty good at gears of war in general. All my friends and I did was play some gears on the 360 for hours, and especially part 3.

I haven't played part 4 or 5 in years at this point, but the one time I did pick part 4 up for like a week or so muscle memory from all the gears 3 hours kicked in and I managed a few good clutches:

MH Sunbreak probably. I beat at least half of Special Investigations. Much better with Gunlance than anything else though tbf

I'm not really that good at video games, I just enjoy them. I think I'm one of the better Survival Hunters in WoW (based on logs) and certainly the top-2nd from the top dps in my guild, but not a pro gamer.
