Thats some real power trip right there. Resetera literally is the leftist caricature that foxnews sells to the world.

A lot of people think left wing and liberal are the same thing or basically the same thing. Resetera isnt liberal at all, they are extremely authoritarian and the regular users are probably fine with that and play into it.

Just a lot of political team BS. Its good that they have their forum so no one has to interact with them in real life or anywhere else.

Because most people here use it as their main gaming forum and only post here when they're suspended from Resetera. That is clearly the only logical explanation as to why CE obsesses over Resetera while Resetera doesn't talked about CE at all

Genuinely yes. The ban was because they knew 90% of the discussion would be flaming & trolling, and of that trolling the majority would yes be at the expense of trans people.

Meanwhile on CE all that trolling and flaming happened and the end result was a trans user got banned after they were provoked into retaliating. It was a shitshow

At some point you gotta face the fact CE is not mature enough to handle events like that while protecting its marginalized users

Im not trying to justify their shitty action the point is the subject let a bunch of people run around and troll about even just by politicizing the success or failure of the game itself and yet the result was a trans person got banned from their (poor) reaction to it. Thats the definition of trolling on the report popup, provoking others into responding inappropriately. And thats what a bunch of people were using HL to do to CE at large

Still not seeing how ResetEra just straight up banning anyone who said remotely positive things about the game is better to you. This is a damn video game discussion board, and it was one of the highest selling games of the year.

Its still one the highest selling games of the year, and the game itself had nothing to do with JK Rowlings awful views. Id say most posts about the game here werent trying to harass trans people. The game existing does not need to be a jab at trans people. A fuck ton of people wanted a high budget harry potter game and know nothing about JK Rowling as a person.
