I skipped Mortal Kombat Armageddon due to the krippled fatality system.

I skip almost all sequels except elder scrolls. Mgs5 is the only mgs I didnt finish.

I skipped Farcry 4 and Primal because 3 was so bad. Don't see myself jumping back on after 6 unless they really unfuck the series.

I have played almost all of the Assassin's Creed games and love the series but skipped Valhalla because it simply didn't interest me the way the others do.

Originally skipped Pokemon Black 2 because of life-changing events going on at the time, but did eventually play a modded version of it years later. Skipped all of the New Super Mario Bros games because they didn't interest me.

Majora's Mask, Spirit Tracks, and Tears of the Kingdom.

Majora's Mask because I'm awful at timed events and I'm even worse at keeping track of long lists of linear tasks to be completed in order under a timeframe, which is what every review and analysis of that game seems to be. Too stressful!

Tears of the Kingdom Because of circumstances, I was one of the first people to play Breath of the Wild - on Wii U - but didn't finish it. Later I bought it on Switch and started over, but by the time I beat it Tears of the Kingdom was about to be released. I just don't feel like exploring that same world right after.

On top of that, my least favorite aspect of BotW were the Shekah slate powers and the emphasis on the physics playground... and they amped that up to 11 for TotK. I watched some videos of people assembling their little vehicles and using the new OP physics powers and I was like... nah.

Spirit Tracks I really just hated the idea of controlling your character with a stylus and the visuals looked super bland. It always felt like a non-mainline entry.

What, you think a game that involves a race of humans that evolved into trains isn't good?!?!? How dare you. /s

Mass Effect 3, 2 went too much into the dudebro shooter style rather then the more rpg style 9f the first. So I didn't bother. God the ammo system basically made it so weapons like the sniper rifle wasn't even worth using.
From the same developer, Dragon Age 2. It was so obviously a dlc that they stretched out to a "full" game, and they did it badly. I also really didn't like the more severe weapon limitations for casters and being forced to play a set character also sucked.

As much as I love the series I just cant play Metal Gear Solid 1 or 2. I might try Twin Snakes again at some point though.

MGS3: Subsistence with the upgraded camera really was game changing for me and helped me play one of my now favorite games.

Devil May Cry 2, because everybody (yes, literally everybody) says it sucks.

I passed on a lot of Madden games lately because im starting to realize theyre a waste of money

FXIII

I had fallen out of gaming at the time. I got back into them almost 10 years ago, and am up to date with Final Fantasy games...but I just can't bring myself to go back to try this one. It looks weird and not very fun.

And a lot of people say XIII-2 is an improvement, but I don't want to play a subpar game to get to a decent one.

On replays I skip pretty much everything that I don't like.

Skipped bioshock 2

I passed on that bug ridden mess that was Tomb Raider: Angel Of Darkness after the utter crap that was Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation and Tomb Raider: Chronicles had killed my love of the franchise.

Gears of War.

I just never got around to it, when I had a 360, and I haven't owned an Xbox since.

edit: sorry, I misread that.

I guess Watch Dogs 3 (forget the name).

I disliked the first one, really liked the second, but I didn't hear many good things about the third, so I passed.
