I doubt it, as that would practically cripple anyone who isn't working in traditional physical media

From my understanding, AI art falls to pieces when it's sample basis comes from its own art and not actual works by humans. It kind of is already happening. One of the believed reasons AI had a shit time drawing hands was because the artist's it sampled from also find drawing hands to be difficult. It copies the mistakes that humans make.

I'm not an expert by any means but it might lead to there being new digital filetypes that have some kind of signature or metadata info that designate it as being AI generated vs. something that isn't.

Unless they have a particular niche, thatd be hard to do. Its not like AI can really capture someones particular style that well, so the only real complaint is art being used for training without proper compensation.

There's no way to make a living if they don't share it in the first place.

I wouldn't call it 'selfish'.
