"asymmetrical multiplayer" is like repellant to me. Like "rogue like/lite"

The "every horror franchise is now an asymmetrical multiplayer" fad just doesn't excite me at all, tbh.

Although, that said, this is frickin' Killer Klowns From Outer Space, so I'd be lying if I said this didn't have my curiosity more than most of the others.

I'll probably play this when it's inevitably one of the PSPlus monthly games.

Oh hey, another assym horror game that will be dead in 3 months.

I am hyped and will buy it day 1 and it will be the first of these types of games I've ever played. The reason is because of how much I loved the movie when I was younger.

The theme sounds great. I loved they kept the clowns dying the same as the movie.

That said, this trailer was not good. The announcement trailer was better. And I don't expect this game will be around a few months after it launches, but I'm going to play it and have fun dammit.

This. At this point its just a lazy cash grab thats been failing to capture Dead by Daylights height of popularity.

Such a shame about Evil Dead. I played it during it's prime run and it was a ton of fun. Then the community exploded, cheaters and exploiters swarmed it and meta game'd the hell out of it, the community dropped like a lead cow and the developers pulled the plug instead of supporting it.

Texas Chainsaw was even more egregious, and Outlast Trials is right on their tails.

It looks like it's going to be Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare but with Klowns vs. Humans and like PvZ Garden Warfare it's probably going to tank in community numbers after a month.

So the problem with these games, F13, TCM, and now this, they're just all too specific. DBD works because it can be literally any one of their 30 (whatever) killers. Here it's this klown that does this, F13 was just 9 different types of Jason's who mostly played the same way, or TCM that I suppose changes it a little, but not all that much.

DBD will remain king until something knocks it off. People may buy this and play for a few weeks, or even months, but DBD has been around for 8 or 9 years now for a reason.

I feel like what these companies should be doing is either going full tilt on original characters, or buying up all the remaining unused franchises and building around that.

The video they have on the Steam page is much better than this trailer.
