This is why we need digital voting.

Democrats already realize this.

If people do not want to accept the basic realities of how our elections work and how they need to improve, their opinion is not worth listening to.

It's very simple. Third parties are not viable unless they come out of the gate with 30% or more support. Even then, they don't last and are absorbed into other parties. If you want to even attempt sustainable multi-party systems, you need ranked choice.

Abstaining is violence. You forsake everything because you're not mature enough to vote for an imperfect candidate.

Once the primary is over, you're expected to shut up and vote. That's your responsibility.

Good thing most people voting Democrat are those who realize what they will lose when Republicans are in power. There's a reason why Democrats have an an overwhelming majority of Black voters, LGBT voters, Asian voters, Indigenous voters, and not Texas & Florida Latino voters.

Since the Dobbs ruling, Democrats have increased their margin with suburban white women voters which is huge since White people are still the majority of the USA population.

Imagine thinking pointing out all of the harm that Trump will do is "guilt tripping". If hearing all of that potential damage and your only takeaway is "stop telling me what to do!" That says more about you than the person telling you.

Biden has made an amazing recovery considering the mess Trump left for him to clean up. The medias negative attitude towards him says it all in terms of how the capitalist classs interests go.

Id love for him to ditch Kamala for a more appealing potential successor but I know that will never happen because it would be framed as him turning his back on minorities

For me it's a Hillary situation.
I hated Hillary but I still voted for her because at least she's a grown up.
I feel the same about Biden in that I don't think he's really fit and I have serious doubts about his ability to even complete another term but the alternative is nightmarish.

As of yet, the number of Dems that haven't voted for Biden is pretty small. It's way too early to get angry at justified anger and assume that there's a sizeable segment of the voting base that'll let perfection be the enemy of the good in November.

People who are so easily swayed like this were never going to vote for a democrat anyway.

Maybe all the folks whining about Biden committing "genocide" should look at the Palestinian side of things. They've been offered a ceasefire numerous times and they choose to either accept and break it or just decline it, so Israel's only choices are to either fight back or sit there and get shot at. It sure sounds like they want Israel to sit there and do nothing while Hamas attacks them.

Youre conflating being an ally of Israel with fully enabling Netanyahus atrocities. Ronald Reagan was able to be an ally to Israel while speaking plainly about the wrongness of its actions and convincing them to halt their violence in Beirut. Youre acting like its unthinkable a US president would refuse to do anything but be a mouthpiece for Israels whims, which is not historical.

They will blame democrats for not giving them a perfect candidate that supported 100% of the things they wanted.

You know how most claims of hypocrisy don't work because ultimately most of them end up being "If you support [thing I don't like], you should also be supporting [thing I do like]!" which is immediately reversible on the person trying to use it?

Every reason for why people should vote for Biden despite X,Y,Z is also a reason why Biden should address X,Y,Z. If Democracy is going to end if Biden doesn't win, why doesn't he do more to win?

Even ignoring the Israel situation for a second (because people will point at different numbers to try to debate what's the most electorally popular position), there are a number of broadly popular policies that we aren't doing because Biden is just personally against it. For example, legalizing marijuana. Enshrining more LGBTQ protections at the federal level.

But even on the Israel situation, Biden is going beyond just "supporting Israel" to bending over backwards for whatever they want, not because it's electorally good, but because he's felt a personal affinity for Israel for most of his career. He's actually further to the right on that issue than people like Reagan.

Yeah I get it. But to think that getting rid of Biden would solve the problem. No not only would Trump continue to support them but he would use his support of Israel to go after American Muslims all of who Republicans constantly tell us are the enemy

I don't blame any Muslim American for hating Biden and not wanting to vote for him. Just if they want things to get better not voting won't do that. That will make things worse.
