I remember a time where when something like that happened a few guys would push the obstruction to somewhere less disruptive while waiting for a tow. Now people just don't want to get involved and it's hard to blame them for that.

Not really sure what happened, but someone got out of their car and started helping him.

Didnt look like they got out jumper cables or anything so Im not sure how they got it running.

Me, my brother, and a friend helped a guy push his car 8 blocks in the middle of the night when was a kid. I couldn't see myself doing that these days.

it would be extremely dangerous to help that guy.

First of all, its a busy street, and you have cars that could turn into the entrance without really looking and hit you.

Second of all, the entrance is on a hill, so you probably wouldnt be able to push it uphill in neutral.

Pushing it into the busy street is not an option.

I got the Escape at an unbeatable price, so even if I get unlucky and develop a coolant intrusion issue it will have been worth it. When I travel I always seek out a Camry, and I might check out the next generation of 4Runner in 2025 or 2026.

OK I can kinda understand that.

The only issue is like you said, it kind of weighs on your mental health to worry about breaking down all the time.

And during the winter, Im not sure if I would be comfortable with that on the back of my mind.

When I travel I always seek out a Camry, and I might check out the next generation of 4Runner in 2025 or 2026.

Im really excited to see the new 4runner as well.
