I've never been to a concert.

Yeah, it's good. Been going for like 30 years.

For some reason though, now everything is a few hundred bucks. I remember getting in for $5 and spending another $5 on the t-shirt, and $2 per drink.

Who do you wanna see?

My first concert was actually after I lived in Japan for years. It was an Aimer concert (she was my fav back in 2019). It was very polite and organized. No screaming or yelling. When the merch table opened up, everyone was too shy to go first, so I just shrugged and went, got first dibs.

Been to quite a few. Best was probably Counting Crows at Wembley Arena in the early 2000s. Most recent was Bastille at Brid Spa last Summer.

I haven't been to one in 5 years

I went to see Pop Evil last year and Chevelle. They were good.

Sincerely one of my favorite experiences in life. The energy and vibes you feel in the air being in the same place with so many fans of the same band is great. Then there's the smell of weed always present in the air.

Ive been to quite a few and enjoyed them when I was younger. I think Id enjoy them less these days.

I've never been either... But I also don't listen to a lot of people that do concerts...

I've been to a live show for a podcast though... Which I imagine is a radically different feeling lol...

I was going to say no, but then I remembered I went to the Zelda orchestra, Symphony of the Godess, if that counts.

I used to go to at least one a month, but now I'm old and only go to one or two each year.

A large percentage of the population streams albums, though. And most streaming services give the artists next to nothing.

That's where the blame lies.

It's enjoyable.

I saw Morris Day and the Time recently and that was a pretty fun show, even if I was one of the younger people in the audience.

I think my favorite was Megadeth in a 1000 capacity club (hint: there were easily over 1000 people there) like 15 years ago. The opener whose name I don't remember was good, Suicide Silence was absolute fucking trash, but Megadeth brought all of it. Damn good fun.

Just the ones at the arena where I work because I do cleanup. We used to get a good variety of performers, now it's a bunch of past their prime country and classic rock, as well as an annual weekend with crapsack Aaron Lewis.

Music sucks

Been to lots; used to love it. These days I don't really have much interest unless it's a small show. For instance, I got to see The Wytches at an art gallery, and that was super cool. I saw a coworker's bf's band at the local CBGB, along with a couple other groups who were having their first non-basement shows that night, and seeing that scene was enjoyable. I don't have much interest in large venue concerts anymore.

We've got tickets for - I think - Pearl Jam and Smashing Pumpkins this year. I forget, you have to buy things so far in advance these days. Used to be able to turn up on the night and buy a ticket on the door.

I actually prefer festivals to concerts.

Also, something like 90% of my DVDs and Blu-rays are concerts - I barely have any movies.
