I think the last time I didnt have a girlfriend on Valentines Day I was 13. I am 37.

Why would one count when they are a child?

Honestly haven't really tracked it. More single than not but that'll change in time what with being married.

There's also not really a point in counting the years where you're like 19 or younger since typically those relationships if you have them are quite short lived and not actually serious.

So really if I were to do that? I'd be in a relationship during Valentine's Day roughly, I don't know 15 out of 23 years?

I get what youre going for but 19 seems a weird cut off point.

I figure teen years was a good cut off. You're unlikely to have a serious relationship in your teens.

It's not impossible of course, there are exceptions but just unlikely.

Cut to a much more proper measurement starting at 18 and that turns into 6-16.
