Nope. Don't know anything beyond the fact that I'm African American. And I'm not at all attached to African culture

Scottish/Irish/Austrian descent, and I don't think I do a whole bunch of "cultural" stuff that isn't culinary, short of knowing my families' tartans and mottos - and most of that is through my parents anyhow.

What's you Tarten?
I a lot of people don't even know that.

I was born in Mexico and lived there for my first 8 or 9 years. As far as I know my ancestry is that of your typical Mestizo but in my mom's side apparently there were some Jews who fled to Mexico during the 30s. My great grandmother from my dad's side was kidnapped by an indigenous man who lived in a cave from what my grandma told me, she told me her family was Spanish.

I think at this point culturally I'm more American than Mexican, in Mexico Americanized Mexicans are called "pochos". But I speak Spanish frequently to co-workers with weak English and my parents and family.

Yes, or at least as far as it can be accurate from the families not having their documentation/history burned.

From father: 100% Irish dad, 100% Italian mom
From mother: 100% Czech father, 33.3% English 33.3% French 33.3% Dutch mom

I don't know what the actual % each ethnicity is when combined altogether, so I often just refer to myself as a Euro-mutt.

We know it commonly as "buffalo plaid". Pretty popular on flannel.

Oh interesting, about the only Tarten that could be called plaid.
Is it just Red and Black?

Mine is Black Watch, on my mom's side, which is very common.

My cultural heritage is Canadian, my ethnicity is indigenous, French, English and Jewish. (This ethnicity is purely my mother's side, I don't know anything about my father.)

Yeah, the red and black is one of a few different tartans for my Scottish side, but definitely the most common.

Ya there is probably a dress version as well.
I would suppose it is the one with the yellow or white mixed in.

Mother's side of the family is Spanish; mostly Basque but there's also some Galician and even a hint of Canary Islander to be found.

Father's side is mostly southern Italian (likely Neapolitan if 23andMe is to be believed) with some Greek and a sliver of Albanian thrown in.

Personally, I find myself to be much more in tune with my mother's heritage compared to that of my father.
