UK probably. Even after all the shit they give us about calling it football it's still weirdly popular there

It says right here in Matthew 16:4 "Jesus doth not need a giant Mecha."

It has a small-ish, but enthusiastic following in the UK.

The NFL games sell out large stadia pretty quickly when they play here.

I am of the belief that a lot of the people attending those games are American tourists and ex-pats. Maybe not the majority but a significant minority.

Not true.

The games have been popular, with tickets selling out in two days, nine months in advance. According to the NFL, only 3% of those attending the London games are Americans or American expatriates, while 22% are from London and 60% from elsewhere in Britain.

Interesting. Of course the NFL would keep track of that sort of thing.

Dunno why the UK liking AmFootball is so hard to believe. Isn't it basically just rugby?

It's slightly shit rugby I guess?

Don't legitimately know anyone who cares about it, but novelty plus expats probably sells the seats.

it's probably grown in popularity since then, but i was in ireland in 2017. went to a pub and a football/soccer game was on. people watching, fun stuff. it ended and a football/nfl game came on and everyone went outside for a break/smoke. it was hilarious.

An old work colleague of mine was really into NFL and used to have club merch sent over from his friends in the US.

He tried to talk to me about it since I had a passing interest in Baseball at the time but it's never appealed to me.

Never known anyone else here in England give it any attention.

I mean, it's popularity is absolutely dwarfed by football. It is a niche interest.

Funny enough, there's a following for it in Germany according to my cousins who live there. My Vietnamese or Brazillian cousins just can't wrap their heads around why it's so popular here in the states.
