is that safe? Ive heard horror stories about creatineYeah, creatine is pretty safe and it really does help out bust more reps. You just have to take it consistently everyday. I think the pill form of creatine monohydrate. Make sure you drink quite a bit of water with it. Anyhow, as long as you are making gains in the reps and/or pushing up weight, you're getting there already. Like you said, you do have to eat more than you burn to optimally build muscle. How much do you weigh btw? --- Less is more. Everything you want, isn't everything you need. ... Copied to Clipboard!

You can gain a solid 7-10 lbs of muscle in your first year or two of lifting w/ newbie gains, after that it slows down to 3-5 lbs per year. That's just muscle, doesn't sound like a lot but 5-10 lbs of muscle is a big difference on a 150 lb person.
I would take some progress pictures, and also keep track of how much weight you are lifting. Its hard to see gains in the mirror when you look at yourself every day, comparing yourself to pics from 6 months ago and seeing your lifts go up in weight are the best way to see progress. --- Hello world! ...
