Nika before. From Bonny to Dorry and Broggy.

It was established in whole cake island that the giants of Elbaf worship a Sun god you know.

In this topic everyone is like, one pirate crew a mind-erased cyborg and his daughter. Thats everyone.

It was also established that the legend of Nika was something that Kuma was well aware of and he told Bonny about it.

While the world government tried to suppress Nika/sun god worship they clearly failed.

Luffy finally coming back and punching Kizaru to save Bonny is gonna be epic in the anime.

As far as Dorry and Brogy also knowing about Nika, I don't think that is too big of a stretch. We don't know much about the Giants but they do live for a long time, like 300 years. The "burned man" is probably Saul as well, who took all the books about the Void Century back to Elbaf. Dorry and Brogy were also just hanging out with Shanks who most likely told them to go to Egghead, I'm sure Shanks also knows about Luffy = Nika and also told them

No, Saul isn't the man marked by flames. The Man marked by flames has a pitch black ship, some sort of weather manipulation ability, and IIRC has been active before Ohara iirc. It's more likely to be dragon or someone new.

As far as Dorry and Broggy, it makes perfect sense why a race of people who worship Nika would recognize Luffy as Nika from his wanted poster. Whether it's from stories, or something more like them feeling the drums of liberation being called into action by it just like the Iron Giant.

There are some theories out there that Shanks might know the truth about Luffy's fruit and told them too.

I REALLY doubt it's Dragon tbh. Blackbeard would already be on the course to Laugh Tale if it was him, considering he ransacked Baltigo and got 3 RPs from beating Law. Plus Dragon doesn't seem to care about Laugh Tale or the race to becoming PK

I think it's moreso established that Luffy knows next to nothing about world events and history and we see almost everything through his perspective.

Like everyone knew who Dragon was except for him

I like the idea of them seeing the wanted poster and heading out. Simply because if they worship Nika, basically any giant who see's his wanted poster will become Luffy's ally. Which is just another giant(pun intended) WG fail.

I find it funny that Kid had a big chance at becoming a hero for the giants and gaining them as his ally, having taken down Big Mom......but man squandered it by pointing a railgun at them
