Was driving to work and this cop in an unmarked car was driving like a fucking lunatic. Going way over the limit, swerving through lanes without signaling and shit like that. Dude proceeded to swerve into me and almost hit me but I slammed my brakes in time. He didnt like that I guess because he got behind me and proceeded to tailgate before getting up beside me and blaring his siren as a warning and then speeding off.

Really wish I had a dash cam for that shit. Fucking pig

Some of them are so messed up in the head I had to call 911 twice on one a few months ago because they wouldnt let me leave but also refused to arrest me eventually dispatch told them they had to leave me the f alone

they dont know how to do their jobs

Thats not how that works. And police can detain you without needing to arrest you. If you look up the case ruling Terry v Ohio. PC is essentially an indefinite hold and reasonable suspicion which Terry v Ohio is based on, is 60 minutes

Obviously I dont know what happened in your case

There is literally nothing unbelievable about this. Not sure why I'm surprised people are simping for cops though.

I've been there. I had some roided up Sheriff pull a gun on me because he was looking at his phone as he walked out of a grocery store and got startled because I was driving by in the parking lot. Just utterly freaked out. I had to put both my hands up where he could see them and yell 'don't shoot me' out the window. Luckily, with all the cameras outside the store he couldn't just execute me but he followed me around inside the store on foot and then followed me back to my house in his car.

I have no doubts he would have killed me if there weren't cameras or other people around. He was completely enraged and out of control.

Eh, I could see it as a case where people think "this is just something I read about in the news, it's not gonna happen to anyone I know". Despite how illogical it is, a lot of people seem to think that way.

cause he wouldnt do either and he had no reason to suspect me of any crime

ive had encounters with that same officer twice since then and theyve been much more pleasant I think they were told to leave me alone

I'd recommend getting a dash cam. Thankfully nothing came of this situation, but you never know what could happen in the future. One of my best purchases.

Couldn't agree with this more. Get a Dash Cam if you can afford it. It could literally save your life in the future or at least help in any legal situation out on the roads.

So like I'm saying, you don't know they were dirty. For all you know, someone could have stolen that car. I'm also trying to understand why someone speeding and swerving through traffic decides to slow down and tailgate someone who braked to avoid an accident.

My old apartment was 2 blocks from a police station and if I had a dollar for every moving violation I saw a cop pull off I'd have been able to buy out my apartment
