Well, when Doctor's start to tear up and look nauseated as they talk about the wounds from the AR-15 maybe we should have taken notice earlier.

These photos don't show 1/10th of it. The things that a tiny little .22 caliber 5.56 bullet do to a body are beyond comprehension to a normal person. They shred you.

It will immediately be thrown in the proverbial trash by right wingers when smug gun fetishists who "want to protect themselves from government overreach!" that supported the January 6th insurrection dissect it down to like 1 sentence where they use magazine and clip interchangeably and whine that the libs don't even know gun terminology so how can they make gun laws. There will also be snooty comments about how AR doesn't stand for "assault rifle."

Its beyond screwed up that we havent cracked down the rifles and made better gun laws. The right are being paid not to, sadly the backlash of even mentioning gun control gets you removed from office.

all these mass shootings cant move them to do what they should. As long as the politicians are being paid to look the other way, they will justify it by any means.

At this point, I feel anyone who opposes literally any form of gun control should have to see these pictures, to see what they are allowing to happen through inaction.

Innocent little kids who should have had the right to feel safe at school instead had to spend their final moments huddled in a corner together before being murdered. Parents dropped off their kids that day and didn't know that they wouldn't get to tuck them back into bed that night.

It's honestly a bit disgusting that a country can be so proud of itself while having scenes like that happen several times and being treated as an inevitability.

It's worth reading the article and not just scrolling through the pictures on Reddit. The article has accounts from survivors and people who arrive afterwards to survey the carnage and it makes it even worse. The videos of the concert and people hiding in the school are haunting too.

Just fucking hell. What a depressing and disturbing read. Nothing is worth this.

I've come to the conclusion that they are nihilists in addition to being conservative.

The pictures from Uvalde are some of the most disturbing, just because of the context of it being a school, and the description of bodies piled up. Just a horrific image

Honestly I hate the whole pro-2A argument. That amendment specifically mentions a well regulated militia. I really don't think it was intended to mean that every citizen should just have their own personal arsenal of guns. But they fiercely fight against any gun restrictions, which puts us in a perpetual cycle of gun violence

What I wish from the gun nuts is that they would simply admit two things.

1. Acknowledge that banning guns would greatly decrease violent crime deaths like they have in every single country which has done so.
2. Admit that they do not care and they just want their guns.

Just stop lying about the statistics. Just admit that you dont give a shit about gun deaths and you just want to keep your guns. Why is that so hard to do?

It's hard for them to do because they want to be victim when it comes to gun laws. They don't want to be perceived as the "bad guy". They don't want to be perceived as "being wrong"

And there's the simple fact that for some bizarre reason they cling to gun ownership, like their lives depend on it. A big part of their self worth is owning a gun.

Enough of our country are sociopaths with enough money to make sure nothing ever gets done about gun violence.
