For all the shit-talking that fanbase gives to Pagongings in general, it's episodes like this one, where the dominant alliance start turning against each other...even if this ends with an Emily boot...this is such compelling television. Just knowing that this group has stuck together, but they all want to win a million dollars...it's great.

But yeah, the edit this episode feels like it's a bunch of chaos, but Emily's gonna eat the boot. Everything is setting her up to be this great player who just got taken out for being a threat after she proved herself better than her first impression.

That's so wrong to give us Emily and rob us there.

Get rid of Tina lite and Dee. Ugh.

If it's Emily, you just know she's getting THAT exit music.

What? She didn't get it?!

Dang it would have been so crazy to see Austin idoled out by his own idol.

That was a great episode. And honestly, that's the episode I needed to really get onboard with wanting Dee to win. Dee/Julie running circles around Austin/Drew is great.

Also, Katurah still hanging in there is great too.

Anna Leigh is probably the single-best individual this show has had in a long time.

Phenomenal episode.

And I legit don't know who's winning this now. Emily was easily my odds-on favorite to win and... welp.

It really was a great episode. I was honestly expecting this to be the cooldown episode going into the final stretch with something like a routine Jake boot but even though it sucks to lose Emily now, and like this, I'm glad I was wrong about the episode quality.

I jinxed it. The back half of this episode (namely Anna Leigh's confessionals, compared to Joel talking about his disabled daughter) has felt like an obvious boot. I hope I'm wrong, but it seems like an obvious elimination.

i actually came out of that episode rooting for drew to win - he knows he's not in a good situation just going to 4 with the rebas and had the stones to change it. austin is dead after totally flubbing this week; i think julie is gonna be too much of a threat to get to the end and i think dee is the one who's actually gonna win.

Dee is so fuckin dull, like by a wide mile ghe dullest person left.

i dont know who wins but i have a (usually bad) read of the edit and i think the reason dee is being flattened a little bit is because she's a little arrogant (good) and if she wins the edit doesn't want to sell her as not having some humility

Well, I was expecting Austin to get idoled out by his own idol there, or Emily to go after a null vote. Not sure if not going for Austin is a good move there, but if he looks like enough of an idiot from this it probably doesn't matter that he has an idol and is by far the best in challenges out of everyone left. But I'm hoping if enough of us want a Jake win we can materialize it into the universe.

And I'm going to go against the grain and say that Anna Leigh sucks. Glad that she went out, and also glad that Steve didn't get pulled mid-leg like Floyd did back in 29. I felt kinda bad rooting for the all-male final 3, but unfortunately it was Anna Leigh there and not Ashlie.

This is the first all-male F3 TAR has ever had, right? There have been a number of seasons with just one woman among the six individuals, but unless I'm wrong this is the first time there have been zero.

It is. It's the fifth? season to have 3 M/M and 1 M/F, but the first where the M/F is gone. It's unfortunate, because the finalists are three of the most generically nice teams of the season, and there's just no investment in the finale.

I don't get the strategies in this episode. Rebas said that playing the idol could come back to bite them, but how? Isn't this exactly how you should play the idol? Lightning rod all the votes on you, play it, then pick who leaves. Is it just about jury management? People like big moves so I don't think that's it either.

And then, there were 5 people planning to vote Julie. Why didn't Emily try to 2 votes on Dee or someone else to protect against the idol? It would've at least tied things up, and in the case where Dee also voted Julie, it would've saved Emily.

It seems they decided very quickly that Emily was out and the Reba alliance would remain, but the editing tried to make it seem more dramatic.

But it's also clear now that Austin is the goat here and he knows it. He had to tattle to Dee not just because of his dick, but because it's his only chance of getting to F3. 3rd place is still a good amount of money.

Yeah, I don't get why Drew didn't try to flip it to Dee when he found out that Austin told Dee. Maybe he was worried that they'd insist on Austin instead and wanted to protect him?

I really love how we're getting down to the wire and every scene has some form of character development. The strategy revolves around the PLAYERS, rather than the twists.

I've honestly compared this season to Gabon and Worlds Apart, with a lot of bad strategic play but the chaotic characters that make it really interesting.

I prefer this to 41-44 any day.

That Jake confessional was fucking hilarious.

Between Drew's effort to stay in and Austin and Dee's banter, this challenge was great

Jesus Christ that performance was stone cold killer by Dee.

C'mon...just take Drew out. PLEASE let that happen.

Oh no. I'm ever so invested in the outcome of Amazing Race with these three dynamic and interesting teams.

(Seriously though, I want Rob & Corey to win...but holy shit the final 3 is dull.)

Great blindside ep holy shit

There's something so hilarious about watching the brothers go to the thing, lift the lid that has the item they need, completely MISS the item (even while looking into the box), and then put the lid back. It's sheer comedy.

Not only that, but watching them do that multiple times

35 seasons and somebody finally realizes that they're on the Amazing Race

Man, they risked elimination to go back for their notebook and they still can't get this.

Christ, they have gotta be one of the most boring winners ever.

Aww, I was hoping they'd have a preview of next season since they filmed it over a year ago.

I mean I need to rewatch this season at some point because I literally dozed off for at least a little while during almost every episode

Tammy & Victor probably still beat them
