Cobra Unit is interesting because while they generally have weak powers (Mantis could handle The Sorrow), The Boss is basically an enemy Solid Snake and may have protagonist plot-armor. Like Vamp is immortal sure, but I imagine one of Raging Raven's missiles blasted directly into his face would impede the resurrection process a bit. Depending exactly on how their nanomachines work, Screaming Mantis may also be able to control them as well. But on second consideration, I don't know that any of them are beating Psycho Mantis' telepathy. Everyone else either gets some sort of pseudoscientific explanation or otherwise somehow relies on mantis iirc. Besides Volgan's electricity and one or two of Furtune's feats.
