Dropped my sister into satan's asshole.

Great game. Coming off of 5 it was a bit rough. Controls felt in this weird zone between tank and normal controls. The "spirit radio" mechanic was interesting at first but I lost interest in it pretty fast. Wasn't very scary and as a lore-dump they were annoying to listen to. <_<

But past that it was loads of fun. Lots of spooks that caught me off guard. Favorite jump scare was probably the falling woman. It was timed so perfectly so I was startled by her fall and creeped out by the glare she gives you as she passes you down the stairwell. Favorite ghost overall was the box woman, though tbh she was basically just Sadako.

Cutest ghost was Miyako. I'd let her kill me tbh

Story was okay. Fucked up ritual sacrifice to appease the gate to hell. Neat. The lore involving the past twins and Ikutsuki was great. Mio/Mayu were like, barely developed though so I didn't really care about them lol.

Can't wait to play the rest of the series (need to do 1, 3, and 4), but I need a long survival horror break after doing this, Maiden of Black Water, and Silent Hill 3 together back to back to back. I'm all spooked out

Personally, I find Crimson Butterfly to be the best.

Great Game

It's the only horror game that made me jumped out of my seat.
And it was awesome because i had my friends watching me playing the game, and they jumped too.

Play 1 before you touch 3. 3 deals with the aftermath of both 1 and 2
