Mad Max Fury Road - which I honestly thought was a satire it was so bad

As an example, having every single PTA movie there including Inherent Vice, but not having Django Unchained by his buddy, Quentin. Obvious bias.

It baffles me to this day...

Aside from the "real stunts" which is great and all... but the villains are too cartoonish to be believed, the society Immortan Joe rules over makes no sense and could not function for more than a few weeks at best, the feminist message undercuts itself when the only women we're supposed to give a shit about are the sexy supermodels, Tom Hardy hardly matters and isn't even well played.

Furiosa is about the only thing interesting in the movie, and even then her whole arc is resolved almost as soon as we meet her (she decides to rebel and protect the girls - that's her arc) and from there the entire plot is running from the bad guys, realizing the hope isn't there, and then suddenly tearing headlong through the bad guys they were afraid of the whole time.

It's two and a half hours of pure adrenaline rush. That's what makes it so awesome... plus a guy wearing a red onsie pajama playing a guitar that spits fire while in a bungie cord harness.

interesting. most people in my bubble seem to have an even split on the top pta whether it be phantom, vice, twbb, pdl, or master. i don't notice the same with quentin and django. seems like PF, jackie, and hollywood are usually tops.

I guess my point is that Inherent Vice is objectively considered his worst movie. And whether looking at reviews, best of lists, Letterboxd, audience scores, etc, Django is much higher on everything.
