Taylor Swift isnt viewed as hot. Perhaps shes viewed as conventionally pretty, in the way many runway models are. Hot implies sex appeal, that really isnt what Taylors public persona or brand have been pushing.
I def dont like that theres little criticism of her music. I grew up when pop stars were constant subjects to ridicule and now were just supposed to accept her as a mediocre messiah.

Far as I know, most of the internet and the younger demographic skews towards finding thicc women attractive, even more than tall, skinny, model looking women like Swift.

Reminds me of when people say "ATM machine". I don't know they even realize they're saying automated teller machine machine.

People using decimate when they really mean devastate. I know the former word has shifted in meaning, but that happens because people use the wrong word and then it eventually becomes correct.

And it makes teaching roots and affixes much less useful and learning vocabulary much more difficult.

Bicycles who ride on the sidewalk, ESPECIALLY since there are bike lanes and signs saying Bikes may use full lane downtown.

Eh, it still works, unlike could care less.

You're finding out, in either direction, if you can or cannot make something happen.

It can also change the goal or intent behind your objective.

Doing something you're unsure if it will work or need to find out that it won't work for future reference? "Let's see if we can't make it happen"

Doing something that actually has to be done? "Let's see if we can make it happen"

It's functionally the same, yes, but can add or change context or intent

- Artists at concerts going synthapella to make the audience fill in the rest of the song. I know and get why they 'have' to do this, but it fucking drives me up the wall. The fans paid to listen to you perform not do your work for you.

- Truckers swerving in last minute before allowing a cluster of passers who are clearly going faster than they are to pass several 18-wheelers... but they go only 1 mile faster...

- Pedestrians rushing to the intersection to cross the road, but slow to a crawl while actually crossing when the light turns green...

- Other parents who don't discipline their out-of-control children throwing tantrums... like they don't even acknowledge it.

- Drivers stopping to have a chit-chat with another driver in opposing traffic in a narrow residential road without gesturing anybody behind them (no lights, hand-signals, etc). I usually allow around 5-10 seconds before I, too, join in their lovely conversation with my truck horn.

Sometimes it is better to ignore them. Let them learn and realize that throwing a tantrum isn't going to get them what they want, be it the source of the tantrum (IE a toy) or simply attention.

And discipline them how? Threaten to punish them (at home)?

Parents who completely overreact and berate kids for doing kid things and start dragging them along by their arms and shit. Like I understand that you can't let kids run around and shit but doing all of that will get me to be on the kid's side 100%

When there's no one behind me on the road and someone pulls out in front of me, going under or just at the speed limit.

They really can't wait 2 seconds for me to go past before pulling out?
