I read that it was terrible I never played it tho I only played the 1st game and that was enough for me

It's...a poor entry. I'm not sure what the developers were really trying to go for, but the team from DS1 should have handled the whole thing.
The best thing about it was that it spawned this video. Which I watch every once in a while, including two days ago. Spoilers, of course. So...don't watch it if you haven't beaten it yet? --- I use Google... A lot.... >______> ... Copied to Clipboard!

It's poop
The movement is among the worst I've ever experienced in a game. The areas, enemies, and bosses are all pretty generic. Its 98% the same game as Dark Souls 1 (just with different areas and bosses). People who act like 1 is significantly better than 2 are crazy.
DS1 is the only game in the series where the areas have lots of connecting shortcuts to each other, so thats something DS1 does better. DS1 is the jankiest in the series (lava lake lol) and has the stupidest (non-optional) bosses (Capra demon, bed of chaos, etc.). --- .____ [____]===0 . . . . Ye olde beating stick. ...
