He was a great wrestler a decade ago, but I have not seen anything from AEW.

He's definitely lost a step in terms of athleticism (his lionsault looks a bit sloppy the rare times he tries it) but he's still solid in the ring, he got a move as simple as a back elbow over as a new and credible finisher, and he's always great at telling a story within a match. Plus, he's been in a lot of tag and group matches in AEW as the leader of multiple stables, so he didn't have many singles matches and the ones he did have were usually pretty good. Some of the highlights I would recommend going out of your way to check out from his NJPW and AEW career:

* vs. Kenny Omega (Wrestle Kingdom 12)
* vs. Tetsuya Naito (Dominion 2018)
* vs. Tetsuya Naito (Wrestle Kingdom 13)
* vs. Kenny Omega (Double Or Nothing 2019)
* vs. Hangman Adam Page (All Out 2019)
* vs. Darby Allin (October 16 2019 episode of Dynamite)
* vs. Cody Rhodes (Full Gear 2019)
* vs. Jon Moxley (Revolution 2020)
* 1st Stadium Stampede match (Double Or Nothing 2020)
* w/ MJF vs. The Young Bucks (Revolution 2021)
* 2nd Stadium Stampede match (Double Or Nothing 2021)
* vs. Eddie Kingston (Revolution 2022)
* Anarchy In The Arena match (Double Or Nothing 2022)
* vs. Action Andretti (December 22 2022 episode of Dynamite)
* vs. Will Ospreay (this Sunday at All In, hasn't happened yet but I know it's going to be amazing because this is Will flippin' Ospreay we're talking about here)

I find it equally impressive and concerning that he even tries it anymore.

Anyplace you can buy AEW PPVs?

For the US, Bleacher Report has them. Any PPV from 2019-2021 is $15, but the ones from 2022 or 2023 are still full price.

https://bleacherreport.com/videos/all-elite-wrestling-ppv

The three NJPW matches I mentioned (the first Omega match and the two Naito matches) can be found on NJPW World, which is a $10 a month subscription service and gets you access to most NJPW shows with an English commentary option.

https://njpwworld.com/

Unfortunately, I don't actually know if there's a way to go back and watch old AEW Dynamite episodes online in the US. I know that Fite TV has an AEW Plus subscription service that has every Dynamite/Rampage episode ever, but it's not available in the US. You could try to VPN to a supported country and subscribe to that to see any Dynamite/Rampage matches you'd be interested in. Using a VPN and the Fite TV app might also allow be a cheaper than Bleacher Report as a way to buy past PPV's as well. It's up to you if it's worth the effort of using a VPN for it though.

His 2022 year was terrific. Thus far 2023 has been pretty sucktastic though. He's got a match with Will Ospreay this weekend which will make or break his year I think.

Reminiscent of the Ric Flair WCW era only he's still shockingly athletic enough.

Still has the balls to still perform without a shirt either. Something 9/10 pro wrestlers his age wouldn't dare do.

Honestly, I feel like jericho in 2023 has been sorta miss. He can normally have some great matches, but this uear I feel like they've all been let downs. His matches with Cole were just bad. His matches with Starks weren't that great either.

for a 52 year old, he is great.

but he is quite a bit heavier, esp the last few years, i'm guessing at least +30 lbs. his body just can't keep up anymore.

he won't be able to keep up with ospreay this weekend.
