Mad-Dogg 08/29/23 5:01:41 PM #28:	I do remember soul edge's li long having his chucks swapped out for a three-section staff for the EU version of the game, so I assume any sign of them for any game in those days got changed to something else. You know in retrospect the robot dudes from contra/probotector on the NES (and the SNES equivalent) looks pretty cool, lol. I tried it out for myself once I got my contra anniversary collection so besides the 50hz I totally would have vibed with it if I was a kid playing that version of the game. It does kind of take away from contra hard corps on the genesis/mega drive though since the whole appeal of that particular contra was having 4 completely different characters to choose from compared to just having 4 robots.
