I hate it, this is why I gave up on ordering fast food, they're constantly understaffed and it's awkward as all hell being another customer in a line of 5 or 10 complaining about where their food is after 15 minutes as the lobby gets more packed.

I'm not socially awkward but damn do you feel bad for them when you see it all happening.

No one said to go ream them out, but to simply go up and ask what the deal is. Sitting around for 45 minutes without even trying is crazy. Just a simple "hey I ordered is it just taking a while?" is fine. If it's too long, get a refund through the app and go somewhere else.

One time I had chipotle show up over 4 hours after I ordered it from uber eats.

I had refunded the order and gotten something else instead after an hour and a half then this guy shows up at 930 pm with two burritos that i ordered at 515.

They had serious staffing issues. My order kept getting taken up by drivers that then went into the store, saw it was a shit show with the store full of drivers waiting for delayed orders and then dropping the order. One of the drivers texted me the situation and recommended I refund.

I would definitely send feedback to corporate. Theyre overriding the system to make corporate think that theyre completing orders much faster than they are. Theres a problem there and corporate needs to throw more resources at it.

My wait time generally varies. Depends on how busy they are inside/drive-thru/time of day. I almost always order on the app now at home and select the In Store ASAP option (rather than a scheduled time). I walk over since it's only like a ~5 minute walk and frequently it's there waiting for me or they're literally making it as I walk in.
