The proper comparison here would be if Nolan decided to disregard the story of Batman Begins and go with something completely different with The Dark Knight, or do something similar with The Dark Knight Rises. A lot of my interest in watching these movies is keeping up with the whole story being crafted across multiple films. So if someone today (or next month, next year, 5 years from now, etc.) were to say "I want to watch the DCEU from the beginning, where do I start/which movies should I watch?" nobody is going to recommend watching Black Adam because it has nothing to do with the overall story any more.
