Shame they toned down the fanservice from the first. Those that would have a problem with it don't even play these games!

There's nothing wrong with a group of naked anime girls in a hot spring together. Putting swimsuits on instead is just weird!

Man I love this game

Yeah it's really good. Blue Reflection 1 has better music and atmosphere and obviously way more fan service, but Blue Reflection 2 does everything better and has tons of yuri bait. Plus 2 actually feels like a real game unlike 1) >_> (I still like 1 though)

Also, here's the Blue Reflection director basically saying Americans are culture-deaf idiots for forcing the publisher to block fan service in the sequel lol

I still think 1 has better combat

2's combo system ramps the damage up so high that when the 1v1 triggers in a boss fight it's basically over, which happens pretty quickly. I've been playing on Hard, by downloading someone else's system data to play it on my first run, and it's still too easy

First game brings my PS Vita to its knees

I played 5 minutes of the first one and it seems so weird. I intend to play all of it, I just wanted to see a little bit for now before starting a full play through. Like the cutscenes and dialogue progress in such a weird fashion. Why are these girls staring at protag in class before the screen cuts to black? Whats going on

BR1 is pretty janky. I like it and it has some good dialogue, but it definitely feels sorta half-baked in a way and you can tell they cut a lot of corners and didn't polish things that should've been polished.

Love the OST and comfy atmosphere though. Might be a top 10 in terms of those.

Odd coincidence here, I have also been playing Second Light recently between Thyza 3. The grind for the crafting system just kills me though, it takes a ridiculous amount of time to get sand without sending other material into the blender.

What's funny is that the final dungeon gives you a fuck ton of sand but you cant transfer resources and facilities to NG+ so it's kinda pointless by then

It has really dumbed down alchemy.

Beat the game. Overall very enjoyable despite its flaws

S+ Dialogue & interactions

A- Characters. Would have been S+ with a Glasses Girl. Still mad about that. Could have been Shiho.

B+ Music. Battle music just wasn't as good as BR1... Some good Heartscape tracks though like Rena, Uta, and Shiho's
