At work all I hear is "Well at least we don't have to wait in line." No that's stupid. Health care here isn't that great to be paying what we do. Instead everyone is worried about culture war bs. I almost never had a problem finding a doctor that would take it, with the exception of a dentist, the closest one that would take it was a 35 minute drive. --- You died and went to hell! Let's not forget that it was Republicans & Manchin who are the reason that only those on Medicaid have their insulin price capped at $35, when it was meant to be for everybody. And even that $35 cap in and of itself is pretty big for improving U.S. healthcare. It's just that for those of us who see no logical reason we don't already have a similar system to every other industrialized nation, it's going to feel like nothing is ever being done. But things would objectively be a lot cheaper if we excised the corporate cancer from healthcare, which inflates healthcare costs by orders of magnitude. It is immoral to turn life-essential medicine into a commodity, a luxury.
