GB News is the UK's equivalent of FOX News, except they have a grand total of like 10 viewers. I'd take anything they say with more than just a pinch of salt.
good to hear, I was rather wary of reports of two vehicles being sent down and imploding that no one else had reported on

Only hope now (well really the entire time) is that they're on or near the surface

still there shouldn't be any reason for them to be stuck on the ocean floor unless all 7 fail-safes to bring them up to the surface failed. Cause if they're stuck on the ocean floor there's logistically no way to find them and bring them up with the ~day's worth of oxygen left
Have you read anything about how cheaply that sub was made? Because if so there is no way you would think even one of the fail safes was going to work.

It had a window not rated for the right depth. It went below the rated depth and most likely imploded.

40 hours or so have passed?

All these people are crammed in a small tube with no toilet. I'm not trying to make light of it, but the thought of stuff like that possibly being a thing would've turned me off this trip in the first place.

It's insane people invested themselves into this, along with the other questionable aspects of it.

There is a toilet in the sub, separated by nothing but a curtain it seems. They were advised to watch their food intake prior to so shitting may not be a issue. At least not until the last few hours perhaps.

Even putting that aside I'm surprised people of such wealth would subject themselves to such conditions just to see a shipwreck first hand.

Oh, wow. Right where the window is. My bad for assuming, but, I really thought the thing was pretty much laid out to only have passenger riding space akin to a van/suv.
