Do you make more than a tax-free homeless individual?

Not bad at all, especially when it's tax free and cost of living is free

So if this is an average... does that mean there are "homeless" people making over 80k a year? Because I can't imagine a lot of the people you see living out of duct taped tents and clothing are making over 40k a year.

How do you make over 80k and still be homeless?

I watched a "German in Venice" episode on YT recently. There are whole communities that live out of their vehicles/RVs that still work, but they can't afford housing/rent.

If you're living out of your sedan, sure, but I'd argue that you certainly don't qualify as homeless if you staying in an RV.

Edit: Actually now that you mention this, I think I remember watching something similar on YT, people were staying in something like a community parking lot that had head bolts for electrical plugs and also a communal large tented area where people set up tables and kitchen appliances.

supply and demand. california has a lot to offer that other states don't. maybe if red states offered the same stuff instead of chasing everyone off who aren't white middle-aged men california wouldn't cost so much?

When you look at those listings, the largest "Homeless People" employers are shelters, charties, and medical clinics. So there are probably nurses that care for homeless people that make $80k and CEO's of charities probably skew the average quite a bit

What is a homeless job? You can be unhoused and still be a lawyer.

A housed person can do that.
Being unhoused has nothing to do with it.

Didn't some cities have problems with housing public school teachers, because the housing cost was so high?

Most of those things like weather and geography are completely outside of anyone's control.

As for the topic I can only assume the working homeless are counted amongst them? Or People living in RVs or camper vans for example.
