He's definitely more aggressive about defending his viewpoints and attacking others', even when he's in the right.

One time, I wanted to start a donation train so I suggested, after a heated argument, some of the people involved donate to a charity(a transgender charity, Transequality.org).

I posted my receipt, and was hoping others would follow suit so instead of a nasty argument, we'd all have supported a positive cause and could end the topic with a positive effect on the world.

Shock came in and said if I posted the receipt, he'd donate too. I was like 'oh, hell yeah, I already posted it' and then I quoted the receipt and tagged him so he could see it.

Then he never replied. I thought that was kinda messed up.

I brought it up in another topic, and he got mad, said mean stuff, then said fine, he'll match my donation. He did so, and then shortly after blocked me for whatever reason.

Then a few months later, I saw I was unblocked and I was like 'oh, you unblocked me after the whole donation thing'. I explained the donation thing that caused the whole thing after(I think) he feigned ignorance/someone else asked.

Then shock chimes in. He says that, in fact, that's NOT how it went down. He said originally, he started donating. And he got a bunch of people to donate. And people were cheering him on and celebrating, and I was jealous so days after I donated.

I was, of course, flabbergasted. Another user(grayfox iirc?) posted in support of him, despite her not being around, which I thought was strange. Then I said if he was telling the truth, he just has to post receipt. I posted my receipt first, then he posted his.

His was 3 days after.

He blocked me after I mentioned it.

He's very aggressive. For politics, it's at least somewhat understandable, but he go after you like a nuclear bomb if you have the "wrong" opinions on pro wrestling of all things although that is typical with certain fans. After a big real life backstage controversy, I said many parties shared some blame and got yelled at because I didn't place 100% blame on one certain person.

To be fair, that mod isn't lying. There's statistics to backup that statement.

If you're talking about the "do you like X user topics," you're technically right. But those are user generated topics. If there were mod-generated stats, it would be a valid point.

A moderator is supposed to recognize there's a layer between the moderator and the userbase. Using a userbase generated poll to insult a user is just encouraging additional dogpiling.

If user A puts a butt on user B's face with clown makeup and I call user B an assclown, yes I'm technically right, but it's still an insult violating the ToU. Ergo, asstank and error insulting a user is not ToU-abiding behaviour and should not be emulated.

Yeah the other feds board is mostly just fanboys who can't handle any sort of criticism towards AEW and Indy feds. Jim Cornette is the devil to them. He could say 2+2=4 and they'd say he's wrong. I just stopped bothering with any of them. I saw in that one topic how they just trolled you when you were stating facts. It's silly.

AEW fans don't like him because he shits all over their product.

I find him entertaining to listen to, despite disagreeing with him on about 75% of things he says. I do absolutely hate most of his views on women wrestling though.

If you're interested in wrestling history definitely check him out. He's the best in that regard because he's so knowledgeable about it and his co-host is pretty good about history too. As for modern stuff, he can say some dumb/ignorant things at times, but he mostly just criticizes the dumb/awful segments and matches that look overly hokey and fake looking and will usually tell a better way to do what they were trying to do.

Places like squaredcircle on Reddit don't like him because he has the audacity to criticize indy wrestling and AEW and they treat him as if he was blaspheming against their god or something. They had no problem when he made the same kind of criticisms against WWE and TNA years ago and today and he was almost beloved within the IWC, but that changed once he started going after the ones I mentioned. Now he's public enemy number 1 to them. They try to blame anything they can on him and his influence like crazy fans attacking wrestlers and such and they liken him to Donald Trump. They will even make things up at times just to shit on him. Some won't even give him any credit for the good things he was good at or or done in wrestling either.

And they're free not to like him. It's just many go too far with it and make him out to be in the same league of evil like Hiter, Stalin, Pol Pot, etc.

its weird to compare him to trump because i have heard him shit on trump in the few episodes i have listened to.

his stories about vince were super insightful and his behind the scenes stories about ultimate warrior and the screwjob were really insightful as well. i really enjoyed his co host as well
