This is a fact. It's an unfortunate fact, but it's a fact. When you accumulate worth of any kind, you instinctively protect it.

I'm not simping for Elon, people do this with celebrities in general. When Michael Jordan made the largest donation ever to Make-A-Wish people still complained about it with the same talking point of "Well that's like me donating $100!"

But then those people don't donate $100, or even $1. But want to make themselves feel better by tearing down what others are doing. It's easy for people to sit here and say it's easy for MJ to part with $10 million dollars while they do nothing.

100 million is less that 1% of his income!

Its like if i took 1 dollar out of my savings and donated it! So i donated 2 dollars and that means im doing twice as much as Elon.
