I think they have gone bigger in Asia. I have heard of burgers with 5 patties

But while looking around I found this

Burger King had the quadruple stacker for a long time back in the day.

If I ever eat a mcds burger I get the triple cheese. It's better than a double quarter or the Big Mac IMO.

I live in Korea and they sometimes have a Mega-Mac. It's like a quad patty I think?

To be fair, if I want a burger, there are much better options. Id go Chops, Hanoi Cider House or Sunkats over McDonalds or Burger King any day of the week.

Double Big Mac is a weird one. It's been a regular menu item in Canada for as long as I can recall; strange that it's been so limited in the US.

They're the reason why they no longer go over 4. There were raw patties in it.

The pic is the main reason why anything above a 4x4 was banned. It's an ugly burger and In-N-Out is all about quality and having a 'smiling burger' aka if you flip the burger upside down, the cheese melt on the side of the patty is suppose to make the burger smile.

I think by then they had installed timers on all the grill since the grill in the pic has the bun clamp, it tells the cook when to turn the meat and when to pull it. It would be impossible to get raw patties in there, but because the burger will take forever to build and eat, the first patties will get cold and look pink unless they were burnt to begin with.

I was still working for INO when the policy went into effect and that's the reason the CEO gave for nothing bigger than a 4x4. Also, you could order rare burgers at the time, a pic of some pink patties would not change policy. Now I hear you can't.
