Horizon Zero Dawn was one of my favorite games last gen and Forbidden West was great too. Aloy is a great character, despite all of the hate she gets for being "ugly." And the game does a great job of world building as you slowly learn about how the world came to be the way it is. The combat also had a decent amount of depth to it. Each robot type has it's own strengths and weaknesses, so you have to adjust your you approach fights based on what you're fighting.
